I've had a few people ask about my Blow off valve setup , so here's a quick rundown of the setup. Pretty straightforward stuff. Hardest thing was deciding where to put it.

#1. in the pic is the BOV mounting flange/adapter. This is the most common flange/adapter. It uses two bolts to secure the bov to the intake pipe.

#2 is the BOV itself and there is a adjusting screw at this end to adjust the blow off pressure. you can take the cap off and youll find 2 springs inside the top cap. I had to take one out to get the release pressure down to 3-5 psi, but it all depends on the brand you get. turning the screw out gives less preload on the spring that holds it shut->higher release pressure and vise versa.

#3 is the reference line to the intake manifold AFTER the butterfly. Your reference must be after the butterfly valve/throttle plate to work. This is what holds the BOV closed under boost. Same pressure to both sides of the system. I mounted a Tee in the glow plug resistor hole(#4). I have manual plug system on mine so i dont need this resistor. Cant remember the hole size but its a weird thread. I think i used 3/8" or 1/2" NPT fitting with teflon wrapped around it thick to get a good seal. hasnt popped yet....
The copper line is my boost guage reference. If you want you can drill and tap the manifold anywhere with a 1/8" npt tap and those fittings are easy to find anywhere.

Results are reduced boost lag between shift(turbo isnt stalling from back pressure from the throttle plate.)
Sounds cool. :D

cheers!
