For sale: 3B Turbo and exhaust manifold

I bought a 3B with a turbo setup on it for my 82 RHD BJ42 from Lumpy. I started digging into the turbo setup recently and simply decided to start over. I'm selling the exhaust manifold and the turbo that came on this engine.

The turbo is a Garrett, I assume from the T3 family but it's out of a LeBaron. The model number from the tag on the turbo says TB0368.

The compressor side is a .42 A/R. Turbine side is .48 A/R.

Things to note in the photos below:

1) the exhaust elbow is huge. I don't think it will fit in my vehicle without modifying the firewall a bit.

2) The turbo-to-manifold bolt pattern is not a standard T3. It's some oddball vendor-specific pattern or something. (That's why I'm selling the exhaust manifold too.)

3) The turbine outlet bolt pattern is not the standard T3 5-bolt style. You can't buy a new off the shelf standard T3 downpipe elbow for this turbo. I'm sure you could fabricate something if you needed to maintain the internal wastegate or simply block it off.

4) You can't see it in the photos but there's quite a bit of play in the turbo's shaft. It might be OK, I don't know. You might need to rebuild it.

I'd rather just get a different turbo and manifold than try to rebuild this one.

I'll try to answer any questions about this item but I really don't have any experience with it. I've never run it in a vehicle.

You'll get the turbo, the exhaust manifold, wastegate actuator and exhaust elbow. I plan to take the oil and water fittings off of the center section so you'll need to replace those to fit your application.

Price: $250 + the ride. I haven't weighed it yet since the manifold is still on the engine. When I weigh it I'll be able to estimate shipping costs.

After thinking about this a bit I'm just going to modify the manifold with a weld-on T3 plate so I can put a different turbo on it.

The turbo is available for free (plus shipping) to whoever wants it.

I was doing some more research on the TB0368 model number tonight and it matches up to the 82 - 84 Volvo 200.
