I hope to go wrecker crawling next weekend here in Central America (there is NO salt on roads so no rusty, "weepy" oil pans)! I find the 3B parts here fairly easily.

I know that 3B oil pans in a non-rusty state can be a tough find up north. Is there a demand to bring some up? I will be at Cruiser Days in Vancouver this year so pickup there is not a problem. I'll also be all over most of the western US this summer. What do folks consider a fair price for either good used or possibly new (if I can find them)?

I paid over $400 for what I'm told was the last new 3B oil pan available about 5 years ago when my '82 BJ60 was "weeping" through the pan.

PM me if interested.

Id be interested in an ac bracket and pulley if you come accross one.

Don't hold your breath on that one! Here the trucks were bare bones. That means they still have oil pans but A/C is pretty rare. I got my last bracket and pulley from SOR and it was also much more reasonable that the previous one that I got from an aftermarket Land Cruiser supplier in Canada.

150-200 for rust free in Canada. IMOP

AC stuff inclusive, 2k. That's with every piece to convert a diesel 60.

I would be interested in an oil pan if the price was right.
Yesterday Paul at SOR told me never to purchase from them again, seems I expected to much from their used parts, paid $60.00 ea for 2 brake dust plates for a BJ70, they had them I paid they shipped only problem was the plates had been on an axle that was dropped and dragged which damaged the plates beyond use.
Was wondering if anyone else has had problems with SOR's prices and the parts they ship?
Jim

I would be interested in one for the $150-$200 range. I live in Seattle as of now, but will be moving to Asheville NC this summer, July or slightly after. When will you be coming through Seattle?

Thanks,
Tim

Try a search in chat. $or has ridiculous shipping prices. But they offer hard to find items.

We'll be into southern Washington state as early as June 24 or so but we'll be heading through Rainier NP to Yakima, Spokane and eastern B.C. We'll swing through Seattle proper on or about July 21 heading south again. If you want a pan I'd prefer to connect in June so I don't need to cross borders with more "stuff". The border guys ask too many questions :)

We should still be here in June, the 24th is my bday,

So sign me up for one.

Thanks,
Tim

Done!! I'll give you a cell number by PM once I get stateside and get my US phone reactivated for the summer.
