3b alternator voltage regulator wiring ?

I searched and found answers to plug questions, but no answer to this question.
First the details:
1983 BJ60
3B
12v system
internal voltage regulator

I removed the internal voltage regulator today and should have taken pictures of the disassembly, but didn't.

under the regulator cover where the regulator sits on the alternator, there are 3 wires that come from the green plug and connect under that cover. It's clear to me where the red and blue wires connect, and I remember the white wire going to one of the terminals of the voltage regulator, could someone please tell me which terminal is connects to?

here's a pic with the regulator removed. The blue wire connects to the terminal its resting on, but I'm not sure if the white wire connects to the front facing terminal on the regulator or the passenger side rear facing terminal


Here's the front facing terminal with the regulator sitting in place not fully seated.


Here's the rear facing terminals, if the white wire connects to the back of the regulator, it appears it would connect to the passenger side rear terminal, the one closest to the camera.


Front facing terminal again, this pic also shows a groove under the regulator where the white wire might go under it and be protected from touching other stuff.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

fixed now, the white wire goes to the passenger side rear facing terminal (in a left hand drive vehicle) of the voltage regulator.
