370D may need some trail work. The Big Horn 4x4 club, which maintains 370C Eagle Rock, was in contact with Rick about doing their annual Trail maintenance. A friend of mine in that club, told me that Rick said Eagle rock was in good shape, but 370D could use some work. Rick last looked at 370D last September, but was planning to go there early this week for another assessment. Has anyone been in contact with Rick Ellsworth recently?

If anyone does contact him we should ask about picking up a key for the old stage gate so we don't have to go the long way.

Yup that would be a good idea. I think it's a code we need and they change it monthly. Then we can get a look at the "flood damage".

Perhaps a permanent pass to go through the gate until it opens back up. You know, so we can go up and do trail maintenance whenever we'd like. ;)

We took 370D up to the top of where the high and low road end. We didn't go on any further on Sunday. But it looked pretty good on that part of the trail. I think some of the trouble areas may be with the camp sites at the very beginning of 370D where people have done quite a bit of shooting and littering.

In all honesty, it doesn't look like Reynolds Wrap or Eagle Rock have seen much use so far this year. Gold Camp being closed has really made it a ghost town. Lots of green growth in the middle of the trail on 370D made it look realatively unused.
