How did you get away without running CV shafts with that much lift??

Thant's what I'm wondering as well. Lifting vehicles is a lot more complex than most people think. I laugh when I see new trucks with body lifts and small tires because they think it's cool. Can't wait to have a legitimate well done lift.

Shims in the back, the front is fine. I thought about it, even figured it was a must but other than a negligable drive away shudder I'm good to go. I put 345 miles on last weekend plus one hella day of trail building.

Do you get any bind when flexing the suspension on the trail? I can only imagine that the u-joints are already using a lot of their operating angle while sitting flat on a paved road. If you don't mind, I'd love to see some pics of your rig (parabolics, side shot, driveline angles, etc.). Are they planning on releasing springs with less spring height?

Zero driveline bind. The suspension moves great, shackles work great. I am putting on 5125 Bilsteins next week. The BDS on there are to short and soft. Heystee already sells lower height springs, they are all over the world. HST Parabolic Suspension Systems

Great rig. Just read your driveline problems thread. There seems to be a lot of work and research to properly do a SOA. Sigh...

Speaking of SOA, one thing I may do yet is cut and turn the front end. I'd like more caster. I drive the truck alot and the bumpsteer takes away from the pleasure of motoring the interstate. I might also try a different pitman arm but I haven't looked in to that yet. The combination of reducing my drag link angle and adding caster would return it to the Carrera GT style handling of her stocker days. I am damn glad I didn't attempt SOA. My Jeep days left me with lots of SOA experience. My springs were also broken so I would have had to acquire new any way.

How much rubbing? Tolerable? So you're saying that a 4 inch lift is working without a body lift? Does the shackle reversal allow the tire to clear the wheel well better?

Can someone explain how a shackle reversal helps clearance or link me to a good explanation?
