I have a chance to get some BFG's AT 33x12.5. % of them for about $600CDN I currently have 33x10.5's.. I was thinking about getting some new 33x9.5's. But these are so cheap I don't think I can pass up the deal.. Will they RUB? or will I have any problems?

Thanks

Even though the 12.50s might be a good price (how much tread left?), I don't know if you're going to like them. The 10.50s that you currently have are nicer handling tires on the pavement, as they wouldn't follow the ruts as much on the road. From a personal aesthetic perspective, I also like the taller skinnier tires. Also, how wide are your rims? Something to think about.

by keeping the 12.5s on narrower wheels like 8", i don't find they handle any different than my 31"x10.5 street tires i had on before. The M/Ts just make slightly more noise at speed. I think the 12.5 handle great on road.

I ran 33x12.50 BFG MT's when I first got my 70....totaly stock suspension and no problems other than a little rubbing on the rear frame rail.

I now run 35 MTR's w/ just a 2" OME lift...I think the 70 series are able to run a larger tyre than a 60 series w/ no mods....

I have a BJ42 with a 3inch shackle lift.
