Replaced my old 31" T/A's with a set of 33" buckshot mudders, and got a sweet deal from natickdave, these things are pretty sick, still with at least 70% tread on them, maybe 80%. Thanks Dave!! Sorry about the poor photo quality, digital camera's broken.

Nice. Big difference from the bald terrains. On a side note- ya still got those rear springs?

nice tires! they make those for men?:D

don't worry Kyle you can thank me for putting those on the rims later:grinpimp:

Kyle,
That looks great, man. Your happiness with the outcome is definitely making up for my regretting selling them.:whoops:
That is a very good size of tire, I sure wish someone still made it.
Dave

one more thing

Oh, and they are actually 34s not 33s (at least that is what the calculators tell me that 275/85/R15 converts to).
So you are even MORE STYLIN':D

FWIW natickdave, I think your truck looked better in Swampers. :grinpimp:

Dave just wondering what you are thinking of replacing those tires with? 35"S perhaps?:D

Well, Kyle set me up with a really nice set of nearly-bald 31 ATs that would even make Karl Belve proud, but I don't think that Mr. Inspector Man down at the Gulf Station would give me a sticker with those.

Instead, here is what I am thinking...in 35x10.5 on 15 inch Eatons:

I like the narrow 10.5" SSR's. I'm not sure on the stability of those on an SOA rig, though.

Dave, you need some tread for the winter? :) Can easily lend out my 33's or 31's if needed. :))

Awfully nice offer, Ian, but I can't really say I do. The beast is kind of compromised now: its on four jackstands with two qp's and a fender in primed filler and another spot waiting to be repaired, one wheelwell cleaned/primed/sealed and another waiting for the same, and a bit of fender disassembly needed for painting...the amby doors are off, the lights and badges off, the hardtop bolts pulled and tarps and bondo dust and crap everywhere. So, no, I really can't say I need any better tires right now than the ones that Kyle and Nat put back on my rims. But, it sounds like I do need to update my resto thead, eh?

:hhmm:

dave the best place to get an inspection is in wellesley at larry engs its next to the fire station on rt9 the guy loves my 4runner and would pass me with raceing slicks just don't for get to slip him a tip

Hey man, you have to keep priviledged information like that secret via PM. That's like giving up a wheeling or fishing spot. ;)

And I am the guy on the fishing boards saying "unless you are willing to say where and how you caught 'em, you are just a jerk who's bragging." Thanks for that info, Nat, I will go there soon.

There was a time when South Natick Gulf was called Hollow Gulf and you would have fun talking to Jack about the cruisers he used to see in Greece while he mindlessly printed out the sticker. Now that it has changed hands, they go thru every car, even brand new ones, with a fine-toothed comb. Bah.

Yeah, it's getting hard to find good places, which is why I made the bad joke.

Looks great. You should have bought my BFG MTs 305s instead. :flipoff2:
