305/65/18 Bfg At Ko's

Thinking of my next set of tires for the extra set of 18" wheels and I was wondering if anyone has tried this new size 305/65/18 offered by Bfg?

Seems to be a wide 33" tire for an 18" rim. Probably not as good for offroad as a 305r16 would be, but should handle the roads better. What is the load range on it?

not sure what the rating is, i was just wondering if anyone has tried it yet and if it fit. One thing for sure is the 16" wheel
does better off roading. maybe I will leave the 18" for a less aggressive on road and upgrade my 16 to 305's or 315!!!

I think that size tire will work fine. BFG recomends an 8.5" rim but it is close enough. That tire measure 33.7", so pretty much a 34" tire.

Thanks for doing the numbers, perhaps a nice compromise if your not convinced on 35's. Too bad their not a 75 instead of a 65.

Yeah, I don't recommend 35's with stock gearing. And so you wouldn't want a 305/75-18 as it would measure 36" in diameter.
