305/40/22 to 285/70/17 - New Alignment?

Hi All,

I'm going to be removing my 305/40/22's soon and replace them with 285/70/17s on a set of RWs I found. When I make this change will I need to get a new alignment as well? Anything else I need to consider when making this change? Appreciate any help, I'm new to all of this but have already found this community forum very helpful

I don't think you'll need an alignment at all. Throw that new wheel and tire package on and give her a whirl.
