I put a post a while back wanting to go from a 3 in to a 6 in lift. The replies and personal messages were great, and I think I'm gonna stay with a higher 3. With that said, I live in Dallas. This is 4 wheel parts country down here, and nothing against them I just sometimes think I'm not getting the best advise for me and my FJ...but maybe the best advise line their Wallet!! I am for sure not saying all the guys are the same, some are real good. 1 trip a long time ago I din't have much to chose from or much to do homework for. If you guys know the names of some good peeps that can install, give me real advise and not bend me over in price please pass their info along. I would to learn more about this, about what I "need" and kinda the functionality of some of the parts I'm getting that I don't so much know the world about. Let me at know...as always, I really appreciate the support and willingness to help. God Bless

Contrary to most American and Texan beliefs, this is a case where bigger definitely does not mean better. I run OME heavies with 315s and have never broken a thing. Its the perfect balance between comfort, reliability and offroad performance. Good luck with your FJC.

If you can wait for the next DFW Wrench-a-thon, you can do it yourself (with experienced help and guidance) for free. However, there is not one currently scheduled that I know of. We've been known to have them once or a twice a year in the past.

If you want to pay someone to do it right away, then you've got the usual suspects: BaerTrax Offroad Baertrax Offroad Specialist Tie Rods, Offroad Suspension, Drivetrains, Gear Changes, Custom Cages, Steering, and more! , Toyota of Dallas, or Baker Tire in Bonham.

Pandora adventures in Houston, is a great place to go. Talk to Sean, 281-222-8274, he has all the right stuff you need for your FJC.
