Hello to all from a long time lurker and first time poster. I'm looking to purchase a 2006 LX 470 in the next few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows if Lexus still supports the 2nd gen Lexus Link system? I know the 1st generation systems were analog and are no longer supported, and that the Lexus Enform is the most current comms/GPS system offered. I'm a huge fan of this forum and have learned a lot about these vehicles here. Thanks ahead of time.

Bump. Anyone have a 05-07 LX 470 with Lexus Link??

Record?

So what's the record for most reads on an unanswered post?? :doh:

Anyway I finally contacted Lexus and found out that the system is still supported. Here is their answer for anyone who is interested;

Dear Mr. Sonofurbo,

Thank you for your contacting Lexus.

We appreciate your interest and the opportunity to address your inquiry regarding the Lexus Link system.

The Lexus Link system in the pre-owned Lexus LX 470 you are considering can be reactivated. The system utilizes a dedicated cellular phone, Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology and 24-hour live support to provide drivers with reliable and helpful assistance at the touch of a button.

In order to register the system under your name, press the SERVICES button located inside the vehicle close to the rear view mirror. Once you press the button, a live operator can assist you with registering the vehicle. Please note, reactivation may be required if services are not currently active...
