My wife and I are getting ready for a 10 day road trip/camping adventure, and we didn't want to deal with two full coolers of ice, etc.
We got a decent deal on an Iceco APL 55 qt dual zone fridge/freezer, and it fits really well in the third row seat.
We unbolted the right rear seat, cut down a piece of 3/4" plywood to give us a flat surface, installed tie down rings, and we're good to go.
We decided to put the fridge facing forward so that we can store other things behind it. The access from the second row works well, and it doesn't interfere with the second row seat.
The lid doesn't quite open up all the way, but enough that you can get into both zones.
We will be powering it from an Anker Solix solar power bank. Next step is to create a channel on the roof to run solar power.
