While I know you can look up the Nevada repeaters on the web is there a guide/book available that lists the repeaters that one could purchase and perhaps keep in the glove box?

ARRL sells one, you can get it from Ham City or any of the other places out there. In my experience it isn't all that great.

As far as repeaters go, do you all keep certain ones stored into memory, such as Peavine, Mt. Rose, etc.

I purchased programming software for me radio so I could easily load it lots of settings... for repeaters and simplex. I also loaded in some of the local policy/fire frequencies.

If I were to load in by hand, I'd load a few simplex frequencies, such as 146.520 (national simplex calling frequency) and 146.460 (used by a number of off-road clubs), and then a few key local repeaters, namely the Wide Area Data Group linked repeaters, see WADG Repeaters - Reno, Carson City, Lake Tahoe Areas. And then others as I needed them.
