I may need to find a 2H head (fast), I lost a combustion chamber and it may have damaged the head when it failed. Verdict is out but it is definitely serious and life or death for my truck....

I've been in contact with John @ RADD and he doesn't see them passing trough too often, hoping one of you has one gathering dust on a shelf in the garage or has an engine to part. Thanks again,
Jeff

I just bought a 2H with about 190k miles on the clock and have it down here in San Diego. The engine has a knock and needs a rebuild, but chances are the head is fine (it is still on the engine).

It is not for sale, but if you need a head really urgently until you can locate a new one, you could use it.
Obviously this is not practical, but if you are in a real emergency it is better than nothing.
cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan,
I am going to beat the bushes- my truck is in pieces in Mammoth Lakes and I need it back together and back to SF. Long story but when you rebuild that motor make sure that combustion chambers are replaced- they fail and it's a catastrophe.
