I am hoping that someone has a diesel injection pump for an HJ60 laying around and wouldn't mind selling it. I have a leaky DIP (thanks to California low sulphur diesel I presume) and would like to rebuild one for installation while I still have my leaker in the truck (it is messy, but it works).

My truck is the 5 speed manual and I believe that there is a difference between the auto & manual pumps. I came close on the birfield list earlier this year (What became of that list? it was great and I miss getting the emails.)

And any references to a good rebuild shop in the SF Bay Area would certainly be appreciated!

Thanks!

If it comes to it I will, obviously I'd rather find a shop here in the Bay Area and will do some research to do so. What I really want is a pump to rebuild while my truck limps along- it is hard to be without for long.... I may PM you for the shop's info though. Thanks!

I'm out of town at the moment and don't have access to my email with the info. Lynchmob here on Mud recommended them to me.

I think they are called Diesel Fuel Injection service. 8922 NE Vancouver Way, Portland, OR (503) 235-1947

These guys came highly recommended from a diesel fleet service shop in SF. Their rebuild operation is in Oakland. Now I just need the pump.... I am trying to get this done with as little down time and as cheaply as possible. Marv at Specter is looking but as much as they are great in this new economy I am hoping to find someone parting out an engine or something to save some $. Freaking new economy.

PS: Again, anyone know what became of the Birfield.com site & mailing list? I miss them.
