2F TBI question

For those who have done a TBi converison to their 2F

Where did you locate the water temp sensor for the TBI computer? Putting it in the stock location with the water temp gage sensor using a T fitting doesn't seem like a good idea. Doing it with a fitting also puts the fitting almost in contact with the air rail which I think would increase the the temperature reading falsely because of the heat from the air rail.

Coolant temp sensors are usually minimally affected by proximity to non-liquid heat sources.
With a little fabrication, you might be able to plug it into a core plug. Not
sure how critical proximity to the t-stat is for those sensors. Or use the
hole for one of the BVSVs under the t-stat housing. Or even drill and tap a
new hole in that area.
