Hey, I'm looking for a period-correct 2F complete engine with all the trimmings. Air cleaner to oil pan, and fan to bellhousing. With all mounts, frame side and engine side. I know it may be a tall order, but I have strong faith in all of you on here! My 40 has been a V8 since I bought her in the waaay back old days (early 1990s) and now I think I want to take on converting it back to the factory powerplant. One of the POs did the V8 swap and cut everything off so I have nada in the way of mounts. I would go with a header setup, so if there is no exhaust manifold I can deal. Thank you all!

I have a .5F engine. I have all parts to make it a long block and 4 speed tranny and transfer case from a FJ60. Engine has 68,000 miles on it. I was going to strip and repaint and sell entire thing for a good clip. I would be willing to sell entire thing for $1,500 before I start doing work. If you are good with a wrench you can do the work and save you sme money.

??? never heard of a "half F" lol...
I was hoping to get a full "carb to pan" and "fan to bellhousing" (no clutch or anything behind that needed) setup as when someone was going V8 or diesel. Even if it was inop. Sorry it took me so long to get back with you.

I have everything to make motor complete. You would have to assemble a bit (i.e. install thermostat, carb, fan, water pump etc). I have all those items you will need to make complete. I still have fj 60 tranny and TC as well
