hey guys, I came over from the 40s section for a quick question because I have heard of different years from different people and I just wanted to be sure because my 40 is a 3/79 manufactor date.
Question is...what year 2f is the earliest that is compatable with a 3fe head. Even if my 79 has dome top pistons, could I just replace them with flat top? I am wanting to know because I have my 40 apart for a frame-off right now as well as having a nice 3fe. I just rebuilt my 2f, so I thought why not the 2fe. thanks
