Any updates on these tires?

I'm really interested as they are just the size I want: 0.8" taller than my 285/75/16 BF Goodrich A/T but not as wide as a 315/75/16.

It's great to hear they do well on the snow.

I'm also thinking, if I get four of these that are 33.6" tall and I keep my BF Goodrich A/T spare that is 285/75/16 32.8" tall, will I get some issues for running the spare as long as I don't lock the central diff?

I am still extremely pleased with these tires! They are wearing very well, dry and wet pavement traction is excellent, offroad they do great! Noise is still no issue, they are not as loud as the regular suspects in MT's. They've retained balance as well.

We had a bit of snow and ice here last week and the tires were surprisingly good onroad in this stuff! No issues whatsoever, and in the icey stuff they really surprised with their traction.

I maintain for the price, size, and dual use, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value or better tire.

I'm curious if I were to run these with my stock suspension and running boards on, would they rub? I noticed that most removed the running boards.

I've known people running these tires, seem to preform very well. I was inpressed with them, certainly did better in the mud then the Nitto ATs I was running at the time.

They seem to last along time, my guess is the rubber is a harder compound then some. For instance thay seemed to outlast my Cooper mt's.

Some would say that is not at all what you want in an offroad tire. But that compromise may not bother you, depending on your needs.

Mine are starting to get some U/V damage after about 20k, in the form of a bit of rot. Not a huge deal, and par for the course, but it should be considered that I live in a rainforest with only 50% direct sunlight. I park outside, but I don't live in New Mexico, either!

I will probably go back to Big O X/Ts after these wear out.

I was almost decided to get these tires in 295/75/16, but I've been looking for a table that shows their weight and I found this one:

Hankook - Dynapro MT RT03

If this table is right, these tires are way too heavy, the 295/75/16 weights 75 lbs vs the 58 lbs of the same size in BF Goodrich A/T, (funny that the 295/75/16 BF Goodrich weights less than one of the 285/75/16 though).

BFGoodrich All-Terrain

They are even 7-11 lbs heavier than any 315/75/16 I checked in tire rack, and, as I believe weight impacts performance as much as tire diameter, I'd rather take a 315 instead.

Maybe there's a mistake in that table?, 18 lbs extra per tire in the same size seems like a bit too much.

Nice rubbers. Nice rig.

Stock running boards and suspension, the tire guys were convinced they wouldn't fit. Totally wrong, NO rubbing at full lock, or with a load / flexing.

I paid 600 for four.

I have the 285's on stock suspension on a 95 80. Completely stock. Original springs and shocks. I will get occasional rubbing when driving kinda fast in the dunes but not on trails. Usually when coming to the bottom of a dune and starting to go up while driving a little faster than I should:) I am guessing that it would be a tad worse in teh 295's. I really like these tires though, and will definatley replace with the same when they wear out. Three years old and still running great.

Finally got mine installed on 16" Pro Comp 8069

Wow looks great. I think that will be my next tire. Are those chromed door handles?

Still running all 8 of ours since 2007 (not a DD). No problems thus far and they're wearing normal still. Haven't become too loud either. Still happy with them.

Can you comment on their performance on-road on snow and ice? Living in MT, I need to be able to count on them in the winter.

Cheers - Nate

Wow

Shaweeet!

Finally got these installed last weekend and I'm lovin' them. They fit real nice on my OME heavy/med lift with no rubbing and they're real nice on the road. I know everybody usually gets BFG's or Toyo's lately, but I wanted to be different. I got these babies delivered for $158 each from Discount Tire Direct and I've read nothing but good reviews. We'll see how they work out in the long run.

What size lift do you have sir? Is that the 2.5 ome lift with heavy springs??? Where did you purchase your lift kit from. Nice lookin rig.
