I've searched but found nothing to help. So, for my new '05 stock for now LX, which tire size looks/fits better? Speedo difference and gas mileage changes? I'm looking at AT2 Extreme, Duratrac, ST Maxx, and AT/KO2. Thanks for any help.

Honestly, the best thing I did for the looks and performance (off road) for my '04, was ditch the 18's and go back to 16" tires. More sidewall, cheaper, equal or less weight, better looks, can actually air down... I know that doesn't answer your question, though. My '04 did have 285/65/18 Nitto TG's on it when I bought it. No discernable street performance hit.

This is 275/70/18 you should not have a problem with 285's.

Is that stock, or with a lift? Right now, my rig isn't lifted. I found a good deal on a set of 275/65/18 Duratracs that are P rated, but was sort of wanting the 285/65/18 even though everything in that size is a LT rated tire. I plan to lift my rig eventually, but my AHC works flawlessly and don't know if it's a good idea to scratch that before it wears out. Decisions...decisions.

My 275/65/18 had me wanting more. I wish I had gone 275/70/18 or 285/65/18 when stock. I now have 295/65/18 duratracs with 1.5" lift and I love it.

OME 2" lift, but they would fit fine on a none lifted truck
