Just finished my winch rebuild. for 40$ (obo), you get the following:
-A nice carboard box
-4 24v solenoids, they worked when pulled off the winch
-old school 4 pin controller and socket, working condition
-crusty but sound backing plate, with original patina
-Plastic cover, small crack at the lower bolt hole but otherwise good condition. Extra holes for aforementioned controller socket.
-plastic end cap for non motor side of winch, god condition but scratched, no cracks.
-freespool knob
-terminal boots (I think 3....) in decent condition, not apparent cracking
-probably other things as well.
-a feeling of satisfaction for getting such a good deal
