Anyone have an update If there’s any changes on the 2025 LX or when the 2025 orders can start being placed?

Did anyone ever hear about changes for 25? Overtrail? Dash update? Hybrid?

Should be soon… the switch is usually end of August, beginning of September. Only changes the tundra is getting is messaging seats and a power tail gate.

Maybe the lx gets messaging seats?

I think last year the press release was in October regarding new features for 2024. Perhaps some additional colors, Lexus Safety System + 3.0 (to add the digital rear view mirror from the GX) and power running boards? My dealer is still selling/ordering 2024 at this time as far as I know.

Subbing to list.

We went shopping today because the Toyota dealer was trying to get us to upgrade from our 2015 Land Cruiser to a 2017 LC or a 2024. The upgrade to a 2017 wasn’t worth the switching (and that specific car was low models but in rough shape) and the 2024 wasn't for me.

Then we headed over to the Lexus dealer 10 minutes away - got a great salesperson and while we wanted on the GX, we looked at the LX on the floor. WOW. Wow, wow, wow, were we impressed. When the GX came back from another test drive, we took a look and similar to the 2024 LC, it wasn’t for us. Then went back to the LX. After a while of looking, the salesperson printed out one they have arriving in December. I was a little shocked to see the MY would be a 2024 - which is why research lead me here.

With your 2024 arriving in December I bet November is build out and they will then move to producing 2025s during November or early December.

I’ve been waiting for my 2024 to come in..the one that was supposed to be here in August is still on QC hold. The dealer gave me another allocation and it’s supposed to be here in two weeks.

Not sure the hybrid would be worth the extra money for the thousands extra they’ll charge with minimal fuel economy benefit. If it got you 30 miles per gallon….thats a different story.

We didn’t put a deposit down - he only was letting us know that they have one coming in. After watching an eye-rolling amounts of YouTube last night and building, we think the appearance package is the right call for us. Looking at Manganese or Nori with Palomino.

I agree with you on the hybrid. I am guessing they are going with the same iforce max hybrid engine from the Tundra? Loads more power but not much increased mpg. Def interested no matter the option. Looking at driving it later this week.

Here you go

We all saw the hybrid coming eventually... But bet you no one saw the overtrail addition coming with rear and front diff locks!

I see 3rd row headrests in that last vid. Not sure how with the battery back there? Unless that shot was for the non hybrid….

Maybe old school…but love the old acronym…KISS…Keep It Stupid Simple. When your deep in the woods, lots of water, lots of mud, dust etc….the old school trucks just seem to give me a lot more piece of mind! Love the new technology but on my 1996 LC…never had to worry about much of anything.

No performance figures yet, but would assume someone similar to the tundra/sequoia

Full technical press release

I wouldn't have high hopes on a 3rd row cofg in a hybrid.. even if this was a snapshot for the hybrid model, I guess this is just lexus being cheap by not removing the streamlined 3rd row panels and leveraging the space for something useful.

As far as the LC300 is concerned, below are the expected changes for 2025 model.

- digital instrument cluster 12.3inch on premium models and a smaller one for lower trims (similar to the one offered with the US land cruiser "Prado")
-A/C control have a small independent screen and buttons in premium models.
- infotainment screen is getting an upgrade (on premium models), it's expected to have the latest Toyota software.
-The disc drive/DVD player is gone in premium models, you get an empty storage space as a result.. Toyota never fails to entertain us with after thoughs!
-No exterior/powertrain updates noted so far it is appears to be unlikely. I guess the hybrid system will come later. (+2026).

I read something about new body mounts in an article but may be mistaken. If anyone wants to confirm or deny.

I kinda agree with @BHAM96LC and will stay with the 600, i have enough stuff to worry/distract me in life. Although if you read the articles it notes the 700H keeps a traditional starter and battery incase the hybrid system fails. I dont want to be hauling around some broken s*** eventually though, so 600 it is.

"The spare tire was also repositioned to make room for the hybrid battery while maintaining the departure angle. The battery lives under the cargo area in two-row models and under the third row in seven-seater versions."

Well, on the plus side, there is some added redundancy here... like having a spare starter, alternator and battery.

For LX700h/Sequoia/Tundra Hybrid iForceMax, you never need to replace starter every 200,000 miles.

Can anyone confirm if the 2025 LX600 has the full digital driver display and the e-shifter like in the 700h? I prefer the manual shifter and analog gauges in current/existing models.
