I’ve always liked this guys reviews, they’re very impartial. I think a lot of folks are caught up on the price of the base model vs what they get. HOWEVER, most new cars are costing a pretty substantial amount as is and can’t boast reliability, times have changed. Whining about how things “used to be and cost” does nothing. Most enthusiast begged Toyota for a more affordable landcruiser and at end of the day Toyota is not gonna give it away. That being said, I just picked one up and the quality really can be felt. Time will tell how it holds up, but it’s a great vehicle and a Toyota. I’ve owned landcruiser for years, and I can say this 2024 does it’s best to meet the needs of an ever changing USA and I think it does a damn good job. Like the gentleman said most landcruiser have been out of reach financially for most people. I myself have always had to buy a used one and this 2024 is a great feeling knowing I’m original and 1st owner. We forget that it’s not a “mall cruiser” it’s a landcruiser and this base model goes back to its roots. A bad ass 4x4 system and more than enough on the inside, all while meeting candy ass emissions in USA. I’m on board. That’s my 10cents
