Well sold my Land Cruiser Builds - 50 shades of gray, 2011 Land Cruiser Build and went after a childhood dream of mine. Flew out to Portland and had an amazing road trip back to North Carolina. It will be getting the works here soon. Order a Alucabin. Dual battery. Solar panel. Snorkel. Maybe a roof rack. I have already added hood lights and a Switch-Pros 12. And cut off the resonator. Here’s some pictures from my trip.

Well that’s enough photo dump for now. August 15 it gets dropped off at AVO and the real work begins. It can’t come fast enough I’m ready for some camping. Also if your not in a hurry and do the speed limit. You get decent mpg.

No not alot. I Have only seen one in my area. Yea we were measuring like 4 times just to make sure. Had my buddy do the drilling. I was just crying in the back ground praying we measured right haha.

Added a ram mount. Drop it off Friday for the real deal.

Awesome. and if that 17mpg is close to accurate and figure 15 once your mods are done thats incredible. I always read these things got ~10 or so. Love a power wagon.

Well I got her back. I’m absolutely in love with everything. Could not be happier. Alucabin. Snorkel. Dual battery. Solar. And so on. And the arb fridge sitting in side.

Very cool build! Does the tent sleeping surface rotate up and down, so that you could stand up in the truck bed when its flipped up? How do you get into the tent?

And one unrelated question; is that castle your home?

Yea it flips up. It is pushed up in this picture. I’m 6’2 and don’t have to bend over. There are folding pieces and you climb in that way.
No I wish it was it’s Just a local place.
