Rendering probably off but at least we know what the power train will be... With 60th anniversary LC, looks like redesigned LX may be coming a year earlier.

More renderings.

Still no sightings in the wild.

Still speculation.

With their design trend looking at the new RAV4, Highlander and some referenced articles of the redesigned 4-Runner that will get the similar frontend I can defintely see that rendering making the cut for the LC.

I dig it.

If I had to guess, and it's just a detail change, I'd say the side view mirrors won't be mounted at the A-pillar/door corner but rather a bit further back on the door, like pretty much every car/truck currently (for aerodynamic reasons).

Looks like a walrus

These vehicles are amazing - the history, reliability, longevity, capability........ For the anniversary, I'd like to see the Cruiser go retro and forward and offer more options for the purists. Options for a solid front axle or long travel IFS, NA V8 petrol or a turbo diesel, full factory e-lockers, factory lift options, no stability control or traction control or the ability to disable them completely in any mode, and expedition and off-road type options (armor, ladders, tents, racks......).

Ewwww, yech. Last LC for me if that’s the direction they go.

I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I’d like them to trend back in the direction of having more rough and ready utility while maintaining high build quality, sturdiness and longevity.

Looks like a it would be a challenge to put a front bumper on it with that grille. Makes you wonder if they even factor retro requests/hopes or the after market upgrade folks like us. I think luxury beats out mud unfortunately.
