2020 LCHE gas cap issue? (1 Viewer)

I feel like this is the dumbest reason to post, but has anyone else had an issue with their gas cap seemingly coming loose between fill ups?

I searched and couldn't find anything recently. In the last year, Ive had a couple times the CEL has come on for a loose cap, and a couple times the cap seemed loose upon filling up.

Yeah clearly thats the first thing, was just wondering if there was some bigger possible issue that i cant think of, that someone else experienced.

Very odd, but I am willing to bet that a new gas cap will solve the issue. Unless you're over miles you should still have a full warranty on the truck, take it to the dealer and have them replace it.

Got this when I started up to leave OHare after a cold 3 day sit. Cap did seem one click from tight. That was a week ago.
