I have noticed while driving at night that my map light buttons (near the sunroof controls) do not illuminate. The lights do turn on and off but the buttons themselves do not illuminate, of which makes locating them quite challenging considering it's always dark when trying to turn them on. The two small indentions near the buttons of which I assume are courtesy lights do not illuminate either. Can someone check in there 200 series and see if the buttons do illuminate when the headlights are turned on. My truck is a 2020 HE. I took the truck to Toyota and they stated the lights are not designed to illuminate.

They do not light up on the Land Cruiser, but they do light up on the LX570. There are a few nice features like this one the LX received back in 2008, but the LC didn't get until 2013, 2016, or ever unfortunately.
They aren’t backlit in the Cruiser. They are in the LX as well as having the courtesy ambient lightning. Have not swapped modules from our 14 or 20 LX to see if the Lexus overhead console will plug and play with the Cruiser.
