Date: August 22nd, meet up in Rollinsville at 9AM

Running Kingston Peak

Comms: HAM 146.430 ( 146.460 has had extra stuff on it lately)
CB Channel 4

Plan on Pizza and Beer in Idaho Springs for those that want to expand the fun

In 2015, the group had an optional camping spot in Barbour Fork, so if you want post up and coordinate camping, do so. I know I plan on camping Friday and Saturday nights.

We will meet at the turn off of Hwy 119 and Rollins Pass (3 miles south of Nederland which is due west of Boulder), let's just stack up where the pic shows below.

Who wants to come out for a day of wheeling old school? Post up so we can coordinate.

Had a great time on the 40s Only Run. Ran up to near Tolland on Friday, camped with 8 other cruisers. The next morning had a total of 21 FJ4x's, everything from bone stock, to modified, 45 troopies and trucks. It was a great turn out! We ran Kingston Peak, not a difficult trail, but rocky in places. There were only 2 mechanical problems (a vapor lock issue and one of the chevy powered computers malfunctioned). Camped again Saturday night up Barbor Forks (much tougher trail than Kingston Peak). Met some great folks, talked some cruiser talk and enjoyed pizza after the run!

40's Only Trip Report

I think it was a record turn out of 21 FJ's. Everything went awesome until we were getting to the top of Kingston Peak. Then I started having fuel issues with my revamped Fuel Injection Fuel system. I was strapped to the big hill to the peak and made it up to the top on my own power Then it...
