Hey Coastal Cruiser Members!

Thought I would take Bill's advice finally after all these years and book a Christmas Party location EARLY!

We're at the Clayton Pub in Cloverdale (not Surrey, right Brad? :) ) again this year in the private party room on Saturday, December 14, 2019! Come at 6, dinner around 7:30.

Raffle prizes: Post up suggestions!

Here's the deal

1) If you are a paid up member. i.e at some point in 2019 you gave me $20 and your name appears in the member forum list of 2019 members; your meal is FREE.
2) If you are not paid up, or you are bringing your spouse/partner who is not a member; the cost is only $20.
3) Any and all drinks are on your tab!

It will likely be a 3-course meal like last time; I'll post an update when I receive it from Marc at the pub.

We are limited to 50 people, so if you plan to come, please post up soon! I'll update the list in this first post.

Not recommending these particular ones as I've not researched what is good or not...but something along this line for driver to spotter communications might be good:
Midland LXT600VP3 36-Channel GMRS with 30-Mile Range, NOAA Weather Alert, Rechargeable Batteries and Charger

But then a couple of these might be good...need the HAM licence to operate legally though:
Baofeng x Radioddity UV-5RX3 Tri-band Radio VHF, 1.25M, UHF Amateur Handheld Ham Two Way Radio Walkie Talkie with Earpiece and Programming Cable

And were these the 25 watt ones that Drew was sampling? Amazon.com: QYT KT-8900D 25W Dual Band Mini Mobile Transceiver Two-Way Radios UHF VHF Quad standby Amateur Car Radio with Extra Speaker: Car Electronics

Some BC Backroads mapsbooks were nice, ala last year. Would some Benchmark Mapbooks of select USA states make any sense?

Snap ring plyers for the outer axle snap ring on the solid axle cruisers:

Fiskars axes and hatchets?

For the 80 series crowd and axle oil seal driver? 80 Series Inner Axle Seal Offset Driver

For the LandCruiser crowd that has a FF rear axle the modified 54mm hub tool? Modified 54mm Hub Nut Tool

Some of these Fire Extinguishers? Element E50 Fire Extinguisher

Ladies and Gents, we need to pick a menu!

Choose one of the three options below!

1) Christmas Buffet: Pick out what you'd like to have as we have a choice
2) Turkey Dinner
3) Christmas Dinner

#3 is the format we have had in the past. I'm leaning towards the buffet this time but I'm easy.

Please post up your preference no later than Wednesday, December 4! I'll make a selection based on the responses!
