After two years of happy ownership, we have reluctantly decided to sell our 2018 Land Cruiser. We have a modest trade-in offer that would save us some taxes (but lose the warranties); as I suspect that dealership will just turn around and mark it back up, I'd like to find it a home directly with an IH8MUD member if possible.

Price: $66,000

History: Bought as a CPO from a dealership near Philadelphia, PA in April 2021 and took delivery in May 2021; I am the second owner. Clean CarFax - no accidents. In service date looks like it was 12/17; it had 57,225 miles on the odometer when I bought it in 2021; it just ticked over 82,000 miles this morning, so we've put 24,775 miles on it over about 25 months of ownership.

Warranties: The Toyota CPO warranty runs through 4/28 or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first - according to Toyota, the only portion of the CPO warranty that is still in effect is the powertrain portion. I also purchased a Toyota Extra Care Vehicle Service Agreement ($0 deductible, Platinum Level) which extends the CPO warranty even further, up to 141,058 miles or 4/28/28, whichever comes first. The CPO warranty transfers to any private purchaser; not sure if there is a fee involved. The Extra Care VSA is transferable to a successive buyer without a fee.

Some relevant facts:
- white exterior, black interior, standard (non-HE) model, so regular third row seats, cool box in center console, all weather mats
- never any smoking; no weird odors inside (my wife is part bloodhound); our Labrador retriever has ridden in the truck extensively, but always on a plush dog bed
- truck is stock - no mechanical, engine, suspension or other modifications except as described below:
- includes aftermarket (non-Toyota p/n) remote start system installed by the selling dealership - operates through the factory key fob
- includes BudBuilt stainless steel catalytic converter guards
- includes TWO sets of wheels - 5 x Toyota TRD Pro BBS forged wheels (from the Toyota Tundra) with aftermarket TPMS, HE center caps and 5 Michelin Latitude HP Tour tires on the truck now (including spare); 5 OEM alloy wheels with OEM TPMS and 4 mounted Michelin X-Ice Snow tires in my garage are included (10 total wheels and 9 total tires).
- includes set of Bora (Motorsports Tech) 1” aluminum spacers (on the truck for over 13k miles now)
- 99 and 98/100% highway, in town and city street miles by me - no rock crawling, trail riding, overlanding or anything like that - we took it to the oversand beach on Cape Cod a few times in 2021. It appears to have been a highway queen before we purchased it; it was missing the trailer connecter plug and bracket when we bought it, so I don’t think it was ever used for towing before we purchased it.
- hardwired BlackVue DR650 dash cam and BH3D cup holder included
- ProClip vent mount base with Scoshe magnetic phone holder (and I think 1-2 metal plates for the buyers phones) included
- air recirculation door and blower motor assembly were replaced under warranty by one of the master techs at Toyota of Watertown (MA) in January 2022
- oxygen sensor replaced under warranty at Sewell Lexus (Dallas, TX) in May 2023
- Mobil 1 full synthetic + TRD oil filters since I’ve owned it; Jowett E-Z drain oil pan plug installed; I have the Jowett filter wrench, but could never manage to get a Jowett billet filter housing with the E-Z drain plug
- includes 5 OEM stainless wheel nuts, OEM plastic cover for rear bumper/tow hitch receiver, OEM hitch drawbar with 2” ball

Why Selling: When we got it it was my wife's car and the family hauler / primary SUV for trips, etc., but we moved to Dallas last fall, and it has become my daily driver this year. My simple commute (jump on the tollway, drive ~6 miles to downtown, spiral around down to the third level of the tight office building garage, reverse trip to go home, rinse, repeat) doesn't warrant a Land Cruiser - it’s just too big. After some amount of complaining by me, my wife has given me the green light to get something smaller and faster, so we’re getting her a larger Mercedes, and I’ll be free to get an M5 or something else. To be clear: if we had a place to park it and keep it on a trickle charger, we'd keep it forever, but that's not an option today, so off it must go.

The warranties you purchased in financed can be prorated. It’s a hassle calling the dealership and trying to cancel the warranties though so beware. You might have to walk into the dealership and cancel the warranties you purchased.

Thanks @PatrickBateman . The Toyota VSA can definitely be pro-rated and the unused portion can be refunded, either through the selling dealership or through Toyota Financial Services directly. I'm assuming, at least for now, that the interested buyers would like the extra security of an extended warranty for the next 60k+ miles, so I'm not going to cancel it.

willing to part ways with the wheels?

That warranty is definitely nice to have on this.
Does this model year have Apple CarPlay?

No, unfortunately no Apple CarPlay. I don't think the LC200 has ever had CarPlay from the factory; I think the only solutions for CarPlay for the LC200 are aftermarket (but somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

That reminds me - my phone setup (in all of my cars) is a ProClip vent mount with a Scoshe magnet holder on the base. There's a matching metal plate on the back of my iPhone (and my wife's iPhone), so our phones snap right on, positioned just to the right of the steering wheel. (I am a religious Waze user, so this is an essential for me.)

The ProClip / Scoshe setup in the Land Cruiser will transfer to the new buyer. I'll update the first post to include this info.

Sorry - forgot to mention - my LC200 has a remote start system (aftermarket, not Toyota) added by the selling dealership when I bought it in 2021. I'll add that to the first post above
