What a great looking machine. I hope this works out. I’m new to the 200/LX570 scene. I’m coming from an 80 series and FJ Cruiser and this is something else. Good luck.

did you get any undercarriage photos before agreeing to fly out ?
Kind of. They sent a very vague video half kneeling down to show the frame. Still not enough, plus the steering wheel is wrapped which is a concern. Having it being a rental car and living in Salt Lake City in the past, it could be rougher than I anticipate.

I wouldn't be concerned about the steering wheel being wrapped, with this mileage all will have some issues with the original leather. There are options of replacing out there that can easily be installed as replacement if the wrap is not to your standards.

I'd mainly be concerned about the time spent in Salt Lake as a rental. Likely trips up to the ski areas, so undercarriage rust is a possibility. I'd want really good undercarriage pics up on a lift before committing to a flight.

Pricing on that one looks about right, assuming the frame checks out and the rear damage has no lingering effects.

Our 2007 Tacoma has lived it's whole life minus 2 years in the south, with two winters in New Hampshire. The frame is starting to show the 2 NH winters, despite regular washes of the undercarriage. It still looks ok compared to similar vehicles that have lived their whole life in the salt, but the 2 years did have an impact on the frame.
