The Better Half has a 2017 Kia Sportage LX AWD. The driver's side door actuator is going flakey and I need a replacement.

The usual parts sources are coming up dry and the main contenders I'm finding on Google are KiaPartsNow.com, CARiD, KIAParts.com, and then eBay items presumably pulled from wrecked cars. KIAParts says they sell genuine OEM parts. KiaPartsNow says the same, but also list ToyotaPartsNow, HondaPartsNow, etc...

I know nothing about Kia parts. Any suggestions on best options?

I'm also finding videos of how to cut the actuator apart and replace just the motors for about $10 apiece, but I think I'm going to replace the whole actuator and then see if I can replace the motors in the old one and save it for next time since this one only lasted four years.

Picture of the part for the heck of it...

I buy most of my Land Cruiser parts from http://www.partsouq.com in Dubai.
The cost is a fraction of US sources & delivery is quicker than from the West Coast.
partsouq.com sell Kia parts
The Toyota parts are genuine & not Chinese knock offs.

Heavy parts such as front drive shafts or other similar I buy from McGeorge Toyota on line but the Kia parts you are looking for will probably be cheaper from partsouq.

Ditto

I've seen PartSouq mentioned, but had never checked it out before. I took a look, but I'm going to have to study that more before I'd be able to even find the part I need on their website.

I've bought a lot OEM Toyota parts from them and have not had any issues.

They have online EPCs for Toyota, but not sure about Kia's.

Like TheMU, I’ve purchased a lot of OEM parts from partsouq & always got great prices & delivery on OEM Toyota parts.
Again, heavy parts are costly to ship & I buy these elsewhere.

Their web site is a bit quirky & takes some getting used too but well worth the effort
