Hi all, this is my first post of many to come. I have been lurking in this forum since 2012 and finally figured I would start being active.
I have owned in the past multiple IHC Scouts and JEEP Grand Cherokees built for the rocks and found myself always wanting a 4Runner GUILTY PLEASURE, well I was T-Boned in the wife's 08 Nitro and had to get something for her that was on a frame so went out test driving numerous 4x4 vehicles Wranglers, Rav4's, JEEP Cherokee, and she fell in love with the 4Runner. The adventure begins!
So since we purchased it new we have installed a 3" lift added larger BFG KO2's real rock sliders and waiting for our new GOBI Stealth Rack.

Not sure why you'd ever look at a Rav 4 in the grouping of rigs you mentioned. My daughter has one and it's nice for her and her baby (my granddaughter), but it's not a body on frame. Hers is a 2x, front wheel drive. Four wheel drive doesn't even have a low range. You might have well have mentioned all the Korean and other Japanese crossovers as well...

But I'm glad you came to your senses and purchased that 4R. Looks nice!
Enjoy your build on it!

Had to show the wife different vehicles according to her desires there really is only 2 full frame SUV's this size the Wrangler and the 4R's but she needed to see each one. Truly comparing apples to oranges right!:)

https://rsgmetalworks.com/ great folks and the install was very easy and strait forward.

Thanks, love the look so put in the order for the flat version like yours. Wife really hates the stock running board and it is especially useless for the rear seats. 4 weeks lead time for powder coated stuff so won’t be here till feb. can’t wait!
