Man bout a week away... Looks like some sort of rain chance everyday.... Dust settler...

Ready Ramble!!!!

High of 81 on Saturday! Still chances of rain everyday...should make for a good one! Hopefully it stays overcast all weekend with enough rain to keep the dust down.

Picking up the new trailer Wednesday and driving in on Thursday.

I should be there Friday morning as well.

See ya Friday Morning/noonish y'all

First ramble for me this weekend. What conditions will the trails/campground be in with all the rain that's expected?

Depends on the amount.

Lots of rain generally means a flooded campground and high water crossing coming out of the creek into the camping area.

It has to rain several inches FAST for that to happen...but it did happen to me one year.

Trails will be slick. If it rains "inches" give the trail one more star than its rated.

2's turn into 3's, 3's into 4's and so on.

Really depends on the trail though....

Hot springs weather is weird. As long as we get intermittent showers through the day it will be very enjoyable....not too hot...not too dusty.

Kudos to all who played a part in this weekend! Wish I could've spent more time hanging out, but life got in the way with working late on Friday, monitoring a dog Saturday morning that ultimately led to a trip to the vet, and then a migraine ended my night early. Such is life. Enjoyed what little time I had with you guys! Thanks for all the work you guys put in that make this happen!!!

What a great weekend! The rain wasn't as bad as predicted and the temps were pretty good, too. Oh, and no dust anywhere!!!

I can't thank each and everyone of our attendees enough. Without you, we couldn't do this event once a year. I hope you all had a great time, enjoyed the band, the meal, and the raffle, and I hope the trails were just perfect for you.

Once again our club members stepped up and helped out big time. A big thanks to you if you helped gather raffle prizes, work the check in table, guided or spotted folks on the trails, and for just attending. You guys make running the event easier and more enjoyable.

Thanks to each vendor that donated an item or offered us a discount. Everyone looks forward to the raffle and having great vendors makes it worthwhile.

See you next year!

I'm sorry that I had to bail out right before the raffle. I made a promise to the wife that we'd see Chris Stapleton at Riverfest. That promise was made before I realized that Riverfest moved to the same weekend as the Ramble. Oops on my part. I know Lance did a great job and everyone helping on stage did great, too.

As I was driving home, I got to see this rainbow on Hwy 70 right outside Hot Springs. Looks like the pot of gold was near Rubicon Ridge. :)

Thanks much to Josh, Lance, Stacey and Scott...I'm glad to (still) be a part of the group (cruiserless ) and ya'll make the event worth attending...the wife had a good time and ya'll made a good impression on her (lol...Scott "need a beer?")...thanks for the comraderie and the hard work...great group of folks that I'm privileged to remain a part of!

Damn fine time guys! I consider any weekend of wheeling pretty awesome...(even if I do have to pull my diff for repairs lol).

Thanks for being awesome!
