Just added this to our stable.
Got it for a decent price, and it has a few bad mechanic issues on it.
It's missing at least one lug nut on each wheel (Assumed it was due to having had wheel locks and he was too lazy to get new lug nuts.)
Turns out, it has one broken stud and one stripped stud. Also, the impact cannot loosen the lug nuts on at least one wheel. The PO said he bought new tires at Walmart about 10K ago and I'm sure they installed with an impact, and did NOT torque to 83 LB-FT as necessary.
We're going to buy all new studs and install them because that's a huge red flag to me.
He installed some shyt tires I've never heard of, but we'll probably get two seasons out of them.
Predator New Mutant 275/60R20 It appears they are at least one size taller, so we may need to recalibrate the speedometer.
Lights:
The headlights are very poor and almost useless on low beam. The PO added tint to the headlights as well as the inside of the windshield and side windows. While it looks cool, it sucks on the road at night.
It has a mish-mosh of light bulbs in the front. Some are very white, some are yellow-ish, so I'm guessing they've been replaced at various times with whatever was cheap.
We'll go through and install all new Sylvania Ultra headlights and Fog lights to at least make them all the same and go from there.
There's some surface rust on the frame that we'll clean up, touch up with paint, then we plan on Fluid Filming the entire underside.
The rear license plate bolts had the heads of the screws so rusted due to plastic caps that held in the moisture that I had to drill off the heads to get the PO's license plate off. We'll drill them out if needed. I'm used to living in the Rust Belt.
I'll post more as we work on it.
