Sounds tinny like some of the speakers are not working properly or at all? Is there a way to diagnose(without ear to speaker)? Are there multiple fuses? Is there a reset option?

Update , I checked the fuses, there are two 30 amp and they were good.

I'm looking to improve the sound of my 2013 LC. I've noticed that there is very little sound coming from the front door 6x9 speakers. I have to put my ear next to the speaker to detect any output. Was wondering if you or anybody else has noticed the same thing. Seems as if most of the sound in the front is coming from the speakers near the front pillars in the dash. There is noticeably more sound coming from the rear door speakers than the front door speakers. Curious if other series 200 LC's have weak sound coming from the front doors.

Would like to add that I discovered this when upgrading the front door speakers. Put in an upgraded, 2 ohm, aftermarket speaker on one door. Compared this new speaker to the other, remaining factory speaker. They sound the same, no improvement.

Make sure the balance/fader/treble/bass is set correctly. There are different settings for each input, so just because you set it up while listening to XM don't assume your iPod/bluetooth/etc inputs are set up the same

I've also found that enabling Dolby 5.1 simulated surround on non-5.1 sources (like XM) makes the center speaker much more prevalent than the corners. If you're an audiophile I suggest turning Dolby 5.1 off. If the door speakers sound weak this may be the culprit as well.

My $0.02.

I don’t think my front tweeters are working. I can hear the rear doors but not the front. Frustrating.

Yes, I've tried the adjustments. In other words, while listening to FM, I would play with the balance/fader/treble/bass, etc. I would save the settings, while still listening to an FM station. The front door speakers are still weak, even after moving the fader mostly to the front. I see that you have a 2013 LC as well. Your front door speakers working well? Not overpowered by the dash pillar speakers? (I've tried with Dolby 5.1 off as well, thanks for the idea...!)

That's what I've noticed, the rear door 5.25", I can hear, the front door 6x9 are almost non-existent. Up front corner dash speakers are loud. I've tried disconnecting the front dash center speaker, and the front dash still drown's out the door speakers by a long shot...

I think some of the speakers wok only with DVD’s. Give it a try .ill mess with mine as well.

Try turning DSP on/off and see if that makes a difference.

With it on the sound will be more centered.

OK, just gave that a try with a CD. DSP on does make the sound more centered. With the DSP both on and off, I compared the sound coming from the bottom front/rear doors. To me, it seems like in the front, toyota has split the sound up - low's from the door, higher frequency's to come from the pillar/dash speakers. In the rear door speakers, the high's and low's are combined. I think this is why I'm disappointed in the output of the front door speakers. The volume from the dash/pillar speakers drowns out the front door speakers. This is with the fader set to mid range - centered between front and rear.

I tried to improve the front door sound with these speakers. You can tell which is the factory speaker.

I've replaced the front dash, near the pillar speakers with coaxial 4 ohm, and disconnected the front dash center speaker. The change is really working well for me. Next is to upgrade the rear side door speakers. I put the factory speakers back in the front doors, and returned the aftermarket speakers.

How difficult was removing the door panels? I need to replace my front passenger door speaker this week.
