Due to the small number that can do hurricane creek trips at one time two have been added to the schedule this year.


They will both be capped at 6 trucks each like last year.

We should make other club's events a priority this year. Let's put GSMTR and the SC events on there for sure. I'd also like to see CMCC's Coal Mine Cruiser Classic on there.

The quarterly trips to Uwharrie (when open) should be a priority. If we don't show interest in going and take part in work weekends, we'll slowly lose it. Let's make sure those two are the same weekend....

What time of year is best for Hurricane Creek?


STLCA's GSMTR at Windrock, TN is May 12th through 17 2014.

GCLCNY's CMCC at Rausch Creek is July 16 through 20 2014.


What events do our brethren to the south put on?

hurricane creek has been added. Car show is dependent on Scott clarks schedule meshing with ours, since we want a good turn out we don't want it too close to any big trips.

We at Upstate are reviving our former signature event - Over The Mountain Tour - in August 2014. It will be held at Golden Mtn Park in Sparta, TN. Last year we sorta put on test event (with very little time to plan) to see who would show up. We had 4 or 5 vendors and about 35-40 folks show up. GMP is a great facility - hope some of y'all can make it.
