I am interested in making a cash offer to buy the truck as is (dirty, bald, and bruised)!

What do y'all think of the over condition and where is the sweet spot for price (obviously under $30K).

They very likely paid $22500-23k for it according to national auction values. With a VIN I can get a more accurate wholesale price.

How are you looking this up? I have tried using vehiclehistory.com but it's hit and miss. Thanks in advance!

I’m using Manheim (MMR) which puts this at $23300 wholesale with the current mileage. This price doesn’t account for buy fees, transportation, detail, inspection etc.

The 200 Series fluctuates a ton on Manheim. Some sell for very reasonable prices and others for nearly retail.

Retail also has a large gap. MMR Retail is $25,800 whereas NADA Black-book is $34k!

I feel realistically, a dealer could get $30k for this all cleaned and inspected.

As-is, I’d pay around $23-24k, but I know the dealer will have a floor around $26k to get their profit.

Is this info. from the Manheim PA location or all locations? Do you need to be a dealer to get this info.?

I looked into it and it seems you need to be an official representative of a licensed dealer. Might have to ask my friend to borrow his access number.

Yes, you need to be a dealer and have the appropriate auction IDs to access the info.

Im referencing Manheim National above. You can search per region as well, but I feel getting the national average is best.

First, thanks to those that reached out today. Initially, this LC meet all my requirements: gray/black, southern ownered, 2013, mid 100K miles (to save some coin), good service records, and clean CarFax.

When I first asked what the cash, as-is price was they told me $30K. After doing some research and talking to a couple folks on the board, I made cash offer of $27.5K and the dealer declined. I wasn't interested in negotiating as the truck is about 9 hours away and I didn't want to invest the time of driving north and being disappointed by other issues. I think it was fair offer considering the tires are toast, the radiator has the classic hairline crack, and there is damage to the front right corner. I was more than willing to take on these repairs on for the right price.

Here is the listing: 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser Clarksville TN 33547032

I also put a copy of the CarFax in the GoogleDrive linked in the OP. Chers gents!

You initial post didn’t have the price. Assuming they just listed that?

Did they take care of the issues you highlighted for $30.9k or is it still “as-is?”

That's cool. Wholesale pricing is good to know.
So where is the largest amount of the 200's sold from them in the US? Do they transport vehicles back and forth across the country to wholesale in a different market?

I left the inital post kind of vague since I was pursuing the truck. The current asking price is $30.9k and none of the issues have been addressed; price is sure to go up. When I mentioned the radiator and water pump to the salesmen he basically dismissed the concerns and said he had a "good look" and it was good to go.

They get transported all over. In terms of wholesale, best bet is to purchase a direct trade-in. Once it starts swapping hands of dealers and having a road trip around the US, the price jumps significantly.

I purchased a 100 Series from RI and arbitrated for undisclosed frame damages. It then popped back up in MA, then NJ and last I knew, it popped up here (MUD) in TX.

Dealers really don’t want to sit on vehicles for more than 45-60 days. So, maybe you can get a decent deal if you wait. Pay attention to how many days the vehicle has been listed.

Thanks. I'll keep track of that. I think most sites tell you that too.
How do you know it's a direct trade in?
