Anyone have the part number for the Nav map upgrade for '05 LC? I heard a new release came out last month.

Does it work without any problems?
Works great. Took the old one out (a 2005 DVD) and popped this one in. It totally transformed the navigation.
Before, it couldn't even find my home address and it had no clue how to get me to places. Now it is a lot better, although I must say that the unit itself is pretty bad if you compare it to after market systems or even the navigation in my iPhone. I would love to replace the unit with something more modern, but it is too much integrated with the rest of the controls like your AC etc..

The 12 discs just came out. There are different discs based on which NAV/vehicle you have. The one for the 05 LC is part # 86271-GEN04-12. You need to make sure you buy the disc for the system you have! The discs are not interchangable between vehicles!

2004 and 2005 are the same (Gen 4). The price is set by Toyota for all update discs regardless of the vehicle or NAV generation. $169
What's the Lowe cost for a disk? I seem to remember legit copies being available for significantly less. I'm still on the original disk and figure I use the nav just enough to justify an update.
