Yeah sorry dude, I know we had talked about this but a huge part of my life has just changed. Andrea and I are both going to be taking classes next semester and I have no idea what kind of schedule i'll have with whatever job I get. I don't want to make a commitment that most likely I won't be able to fulfill.

I'll tell you what, i'll take the job if you want and do it for as long as I can but there needs to be a back up in case I just can't do it for a variety of reasons.

Unneccessary Al, you need to focus on your transistion. It should work the other way, if you have time down the road, you can assist. That position takes a lot of attention and your focus needs to be elsewhere.

I agree with Joe, Brian has done an outstanding job as the event coordinator and I'd like to see him move into the Prez spot.

I'd propose that if no individual steps up, the existing board will take action to split the duties, find volunteers for each event or let them "find their own way".

Just my 2 cents...

I couldn't agree more, I definitely think that Brian is the best candidate for the prez. Maybe let the president(Brian) delegate out certain events to certain people to organize and for the bigger events (STR) let the board work together to organize.
