2011 LX 570 whining/loading sound coming out of cd area when vehicle is on but stereo is off.

Engine on. Stereo off. Heat off. Sound goes away when vehicle is off. Sound comes on about 50% of the time. It sounds like the cd player is spinning or trying to load a cd.Can you clarify more "when off". Is the truck ignition ON? Is the engine ON? Is it continuous? Is it gone when CD is playing?
This is a known issue. It is blamed on some kind of fan inside the dashboard. I also have it on my 2013. I just learned to live with it.
AFAIK there is no clear fix to the issue as others also just ignored it.
