Anyone else have this issue?
I was in a hurry, hit the power close button, then tried to override the power close function because it was taking too long (like a total moron). When I put downward pressure on the liftgate I did feel and hear some "chatter" in the motor, but didn't really think too much of it. Now, the whole thing is misaligned and binds on the roof! It's like there is a slip-joint in the passenger side hinge that prevents the liftgate from opening more than a few degrees. My local body shop agreed to look at it, but not for 10 days, so I figure I have that long to find a solution w/o paying through the nose. Anyone have any ideas?
