All I can say is "Thank You" Toyota. You saved me a LOT of money about 18 months ago, and it looks like you're going to do it again! I have had (3) 100 model LX470's and I couldn't wait to see / own the new generation LX, because I was ready for a change and had also heard about the power train changes, technology changes, etc. (that, and I was trying to avoid making the mechanical mistake of buying what I still think is the best looking luxury SUV out there - a Range Rover) Unfortunately (and thankfully, at the same time), all of the employees at the Toyota design studios, apparently, go to work drunk these days, so not only did they TOTALLY miss the styling mark with the new-generation LX, it looks like they're going to do the same thing with the new-generation GX. Accordingly, I'll be keeping my current 100-series LX (or buying another brand), and it looks like my wife will be keeping her current GX (or we'll be buying her some other brand), as well...................what the HELL is going on with Toyota SUV styling these days? Although I think the Highlander is actually a very handsome vehicle, and I also think the Venza is a REALLY cool looking auto, the 200-series LC/LX and soon-to-be-out 4R/GX basically look like hammered s***!
