Where are we camping? Just need to know for preperation....

How did you pull that off? I may want to add your technique to my manual

Well it didnt come without war wounds. I had to till the new garden this last weekend and plant some apple trees.

it is not a small garden this year :bang:

Dave-
I am thinking tommy and i will head down 107 as Brevard will be somewhat out of the way for us. So if anyone wants to meet in sylva and head down we will wait. otherwise see you guys there.

Whattttttt? See YOUR thread on caravaning . . . how soon we forget . . . must be too much tilling.

Not sure if it's to late, but a new member here and would be my first meeting. Baring any odd event's I hope to be there. Hey Dave? Still care to caravan even if it's just two rigs? :steer: lol

Since I'm new and unsure, how long does the "meeting" side of this last?

The unofficial High Country aka Blue Ridge aka Freakcity, USA, chapter of UC plans on meeting at Backcountry Outdoors in Pisgah Forest/Brevard (280 &276) around 8:30 am and convoying to Aunt Sues. Should be a nice ride down Ceasar's Head. A "sub convoy" will meet at the Hardees in Weaverville (New Stock Rd.) at 7:30 and convoy to the convoy.

Adam, "The Dear Leader," and Tommy, "rescuer of Jeeps and lesser rigs," ambassadors from Sylva, may meet us in Brevard. Bring your FRS or Ham radios (or both) so we can talk junk on our way down to bestow our presence on the inhabitants of the lowlands . . . . Also, bring a chair as the main event involves sitting around and shooting Bull. Also, its a good opportunity to trade parts, give away parts, or steal parts when Marshall isn't looking . . . :grinpimp:

Hi David would I40 or 276 be the quickest route.

here is the address
Backcountry Outdoors
49 Pisgah Hwy. Ste. 6
Pisgah Forest, NC 28768

Hardees is an Ingles gas station now.. :hillbilly:

The Hardees is now an Ingles Gas Station? Wow, I need to pay closer attention. No wonder they were upset when I tried to order a half-pound burger.

Well, Grizzly, I'll meet you at the Ingles gas station . . . the coffee should taste about the same.

TOMMY AND ADAM . . . You could take the Parkway at Balsam to 276 down to Pisgah Forest . . . a little longer, but very scenic. Glad you guys decided to hang with our convoy . . .no peer pressure or anything.
