is anybody else finding that their heater's recirc button turns off after only being on for a few minutes??? when trying to warm the inside of my truck up in the mornings and at night i press the recirculate button to the right of the A/C button so that the warm air recirculates and gets hot. after no more than a few minutes of driving i will look back at the button and find that the little amber light if OFF!!! i am SURE that i am turning it ON and NOT on defrost and this light keeps going off. ANY IDEAS???????

Maybe it is automatically turning off as your engine temp rises so you don't end up driving around with windows all fogged up on the inside from the extra humid warm recirculated air.
Just a guess though....

Read your manual.

Air intake selector

To prevent fogging up of the windshield, the air intake mode may change automatically to FRESH depending on the condition of the air conditioning system.

If the ambient temperature drops, the air intake mode will automatically change from RECIRCULATE to FRESH after a few minutes. This automatic change control mode can be canceled bu pushing and holding the button for longer than 2 seconds.

The automatic change control mode will be reactivated if the ignition switch is sett at Acc or off.

got it, thanks. these trucks are getting smarter and smarter as i get dumber and dumber i guess...
