The event that has grown to be one of the largest gatherings of Toyota off-road enthusiast and vendors held in Texas is having its 4th annual fun-filled weekend on January 15th-18th 2009 in Gilmer, Texas at the Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area.

This family fun event is organized to raise awareness for Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC) and to promote camaraderie among all Toyota off-road enthusiasts, and we can't wait to see some of ya'll back out for another great event.

Just showing up at the gate, drivers fees are $80 and Passenger fees are $30, and that only includes meals and entrance, nothing else.

Navigate the obstacle course blindfold with only the help of your trusted spotter.

With tires squealing and engines revving, drivers rush to bet the clock while carefully navigating Barnwell Mountain's rock garden. Always a crowd favorite, drivers are placed into two different classes of equal competitors and the one with the furthest distance in the allotted time wins. A must see!

8AM - 6PM: Free Range, explore the park at your leisure
8AM - 8PM: Registration and Check-In
9AM, 10AM, NOON, 2PM:Introduction the Barnwell Moutain and Safe Wheeling with Beginner Guided Run
6PM - ?: Vender Meet-n-Greet and Chili Dinner

Saturday
8AM - 11AM: Registration and Check-In
8AM-9AM: Wake up Call. Start the day off right with coffee and donuts at the pavilion.
9AM: Mandatory drivers meeting. All drivers, regardless whether taking a guided run or not, must attend.
9:30AM-12PM: Guided Runs
12PM - 1PM: Lunch (not provided)
1PM: Group Picture. Meet at the pavilion.
1:30PM: Competions

* Trust your Spotter
* Rock Crawl

Powder Puff Run to proceed after Rock Crawl

Texas Twister Challenge to proceed simultaneously with the Powder Puff Run

6PM - 10PM: Texas Style BBQ

We are proud to announce we will be hosting a
Pre-Event Registration Raffle on December 1st!

All Drivers who register for the 2009 Lone Star Toyota Jamboree on the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree website before November 30th are eligible to win. Your registration and payment must be in by 11pm on November 30th to be eligible. A name will be randomly selected on the morning of December 1st and the winner will be notified by email.

I'll be there with the fj80 -still stock for now. I'm gona need to dig deeper for the spare change necessary to mod one of these things! Won't be wheelin much/any so if'n anybody has a spare right seat I'd sure 'preciate a ride!:hillbilly:
