2008 Tacoma Skyjacker lift troubles

I have a 2008 Tacoma that the dealer put a 3 inch coil over Skyjacker lift on. It has given me nothing but grief. The coils rub on the shock and SQUEAK big time. Skyjacker suggests I shim the spring to change the way the spring rides around the shock. Has anyone else here had problems with this lift or dealing with the "wonderful" customer support at Skyjacker?

I've never dealt with a Skyjacker lift, but I do know that if you mess up the bolt orientation on a OME lift, the coil leans into the shock. Is the end of the coil on the bottom facing towards the outside of the truck?

I will check and see today. That is exactly what is happening on both front shocks. I hope that is what it is, easy fix. I've learned my lesson, I will never have a dealer send a truck out and put a lift on it. This one was put on by a tire shop and not a 4x4 shop.

I've seen that a few times on trucks that come into the shop. Hopefully, thats the problem cause that's a pretty easy fix.
