Up for sale is my wife's 2008 MDX. See link at the bottom of this ad for pics. This has been a great car for our family. We bought it new in Cleveland in April, 2008. All maintenance is up to date. I have most or all service records (I'm renovating my home office right now, so I'm not exactly sure where everything is....). I put new Michelins on it about 20,000 miles ago.
She would have kept this for another 4 years, but we have a third kid on the way, and this doesn't hold 3 child seats comfortably. So hello Buick Enclave, goodbye MDX.
I love my Cruiser, but this really is just about the perfect car. It is quiet and comfortable and has GPS and power everything. It has AWD, and handles great on wet, snowy, or dry roads. It goes from 0-60 in under 7 seconds, and can get 24 mpg on the highway at reasonable speeds.
It has the tech package, which is GPS, XM, and a 6-disc changer. There is a 1/8" plug for an ipod or aux input. No DVD player. No serious accidents. A garbage truck had a blowout next to my wife on the NY Thruway a few months ago, and there was some light cosmetic damage to the right front quarter panel and doors. This was repaired flawlessly by a local shop. Exterior is dark cherry metallic, interior is parchment (beige) leather. It seats 5 comfortably. It has the third row seats, which allow you to fit 7 people, although they're really best for smaller people over a shorter distance. It currently has 66,791 miles, mostly highway.
The price on Autotrader is $22,900, which is below KBB private party. The price for my Mud family is $22,500 firm, but I really do mean that's a firm price, so please don't ask. I'm not in a hurry to sell, but this is a fair price, and I don't expect this to last forever.
