Has anyone successfully converted their 2008/2009 head unit (where map/climate controls and screen are located) to a 2010-2015 version? I would assume the volume control hardware would also have to be replaced due to an added Bluetooth button?
My current head unit on my 2008 has a button that doesn’t work anymore. My wife is not a fan of glitches and prefers oem so I’m not considering the Tesla style screen at the moment. So I was wondering if I could upgrade the head unit from the 2008/2009 version to a 2010-2015 version. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. If this is a terrible idea, let me know also haha.
